Comments: We have a five acre pond in south Georgia with a small house we use as a guest house that sits very close to the water. Our friends and family all enjoy staying there but everyone complained about being bitten by horseflys. It was so bad we all sat on the porch with a fly swatter in hand just waiting for the little terrors to land. When the horse flys began their attack we all started swatting in every direction. No doubt we swatted one another more than the flys and to make it worse they seemed to be growing bigger with a more painful bite each day. I read about the Horse Pal trap and at first was hesitant because of the cost. Then I looked at my legs and counted nine painful and itchy bites and decided it was well worth every penny and I'd at least try it.

We've had it for about a month now and it does exactly what it says it does! Within the first two hours we were catching horseflys, yellow flys and hornets. I've had to empty the jar twice already and I've seen a tremedous reduction in flying pests and biting bugs.

The design of the trap is simple and the materials are high quality. My husband put it together in a matter of minutes.

I plan to have a Horse Pal Trap from now on and am considering buying a second one. It's wonderful to be able to sit on the porch and look at the water without being attacked by biting bugs!
